Finally! Been looking for the titles and respective artists of these three songs, or at least the non-neyo versions. Pretty much what I've been listening to these days. Sappy lovesongs. Nyahaha... Here's to being in love!
Every Piece Of My Heart, Attozio (The only one that's really applicable) Feels like you know me, I want to know you too Let me come closer Show you what I can do I'll give my heart too, and every part of me The way I'm feeling, is taking over me
there's definitely something intrinsically me about livejournal. i dunno, maybe coz everything pretty much started here. hay. it's been AGES since i last posted anything, and it feels good to be back. or it feels good to find a good old honest place on the net. yknow, that one place i've kept relatively private. that one place where it's all just about me and my words. and my cat-mood icons. :) that one place where you can see how much or how little i've grown over the years. that one place that's kept all my blogthings posts and whatnots. hay.
CONGRATS TO THE PHILIPPINE ALLSTARS FOR WINNING 1ST IN THIS YEAR'S WORLD HIP HOP CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!
you make us all so proud to be pinoy, and proud to be a part of the pinoy dance scene! wah! here's to my sister and cousins, and to shine-- grabeh pinsan moooooooo big time!!!
I MISS YOU GUYS!!! i miss dancing! hehe wala pa ngang one month since the concert. tumataba na yata ako from no exercise ;p miss ko na magstretch at ma-stretch na parang elastic girl. miss ko na mag jazz-jazz-an (wahaha). miss ko na magisolate ng muscles na hindi ko alam na nageexist pala. miss ko ng mawala sa choreo. sumayaw na kunyari alam ko yng choreo. pero hindi ko tlga memorize. miss ko na umakyat sa scaffold kahit na takot tlga ako. miss ko na ang mga nakaka-nosebleed na hirit at jokes ni bono. ano ba yan special mention pa. at ngtatagalog yata ako. hehe. anyhow... just some pics from the concert... coz i never posted any. hayy. hope to see you girls (and boys) soon!!
LSS days... :) This performace gave me goosebumps. Brought back memories... i do miss worship and praise. It's the only time i can really belt out without the person beside me laughing at how i'd sing with all my might (think past total eclipse performances haha). Good times indeed.
My Jesus, my Savior Lord there is none like you All of my days, I want to praise The wonders of your mighty love
My comfort, my Shelter Tower of refuge and strength Let every breath, all that I am Never cease to worship you
Shout to the Lord, all the earth Let us sing. Power and majesty, praise to the king. Mountains bow down and the seas will roar At the sound of your name I sing for joy at the works of your hands Forever I'll love you, forever I'll stand Nothing compares to the promise I have in you
There's something soothing about Rob Thomas' voice. The title's actually Ever the Same, but somehow i find "Fall On Me" more apt. But thats just me. :)
We were drawn from the weeds We were brave like soldiers Falling down under the pale moonlight You were holding to me Like a someone broken And I couldn't tell you but I'm telling you now
Just let me hold you while you're falling apart Just let me hold you and we'll both fall down
Fall on me Tell me everything you want me to be Forever with you forever in me Ever the same
We would stand in the wind We were free like water Flowing down Under the warmth of the sun Now it's cold and we're scared And we've both been shaken Hey, look at us Man, this doesn't need to be the end
Just let me hold you while you're falling apart Just let me hold you and we'll both fall down
Fall on me tell me everything you want me to be Forever with you Forever in me Ever the same Call on me I'll be there for you and you'll be there for me Forever it's you Forever in me Ever the same
You may need me there To carry all your weight But you're no burden I assure You tide me over With a warmth I'll not forget But I can only give you love
Fall on me tell me everything you want me to be Forever with you Forever in me Ever the same Call on me I'll be there for you and you'll be there for me Forever it's you Forever in me Ever the same
reposting from eauj's blog (i hope you dont mind) because i can't get over the fact that sometimes, the people closest to you are the ones who are most skeptical about your intentions.
i just don't get it.
or then again, if you haven't seen or experienced something genuinely good then that probably merits your disbelief.
***** Is it the culture? Or are people just down right skeptic?
Let's say a guy offers to open the door for a lady, and the woman, instead of being thankful raises an eyebrow and thinks "aba't pumo-points to, ah?"
Or a friend calls another friend just to ask how he is and he gets a reply like "..So anong kailangan mo?"
Sometimes, no matter how sincere or good-hearted you are, people will still question your intent. Even people you know.
It sucks.
But you keep offering anyway.
Maybe one day they'll realize you were only trying to help.
And even if they don't, at least you did something good. *****
ah yes, my most unused word. not yes, read the title idiot. i meant NO. *bleep!*
here's to sum up how my life's been so far (save for the recent boracay vacation, the longest i've ever been away from my laptop!) hehe. enjoy!
random thought. ever heard of black holes? yknow what they are? they're these highly dense invisible things in outerspace that suck the light (and life?) out of everything within its gravitational reach. well... isnt work kindof the same? (unless you love what you're doing) you spend hours and hours doing shit and yet you wake up the next day and still allow yourself to do the same thing over and over again (ssdd) until there's really no more left of you. life? what life? then sooner or later you find the people around you stuck in the same. we.are.dorks. or should i say, itwhores ;p
picked up the latest reader's digest from the mail and the cover feature's actually very fitting. lesson of the day, thanks to RD (and yes bryan has to say this to me every single day)

George Michael's I Can't Make You Love Me as performed by CADs during our 10th year anniversary concert when I was a senior. (click on the link)
This is one of my all-time favorite dances. We were only freshmen when Kat performed this together with Randy... it was just breathtaking watching them on stage. So much emotions... at maiiyak ka sa galing nila!! Randy's also my fave jazz/ ballet dancer, maybe next to Paolo Alcedo, whom I've had the privilege of performing with waayyy back in 2002 for my short stint with Trumpets (yeabah!). I forgot the song he danced during our concert then but I still have the video... it was a solo adagio number. He's in the states now I think, and so is Kat... training, dancing, doing all that *i* love to do as well...
Heck yeah!!! for the FIRST TIME, i must say that i'm so proud of the BLUE BABBLE BATTALION. they've definietely improved a lot and finally earned my respect (like that matters hehehehe). but yeah, you can check out their performace at this year's uaap cheer dance competition. Good job guys! And WTF, their routine was WAYYY better than Salinggawi's... to think that i've always looked up to that group for their jaw-dropping, totally out-of-this world performances...tsk tsk. Wala na, the other squads finally caught up with them... I just hope that politicking won't keep them in the top 3 for long... ONE BIG FIGHT!!!
And of course, i wont forget to congratulate the Company of Ateneo Dancers for bagging GOLD at this year's Maximum Groovity competition!!! I HEART CADS!!!!!! i miss dancing, i miss competing, i miss training your ass off like there's no tomorrow!!! waaaaaaaaahhh!!!
SOPBOYS rip-off their routines from other dance groups. GO AWAY!!!! don't you just hate it when people copy stuff from you and take credit for it??! exagg... this is one of the reasons i abhor the local showbiz industry....

i was reading before you leap (kermit the frog's little book on life's lessons, teehee!) and chanced upon this song and it just makes you feel like a kid again! it's amazing how these songs stick to you and only figure decades later... so enjoy! :)
Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side? Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide. So we've been told and some choose to believe it. I know they're wrong, wait and see. Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me.
Who said that every wish would be heard and answered when wished on the morning star? Somebody thought of that and someone believed it. Look what it's done so far. What's so amazing that keeps us star gazing and what do we think we might see? Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me.
All of us under its spell. We know that it's probably magic.
Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices? I've heard them calling my name. Is this the sweet sound that called the young sailors. The voice might be one and the same. I've heard it too many times to ignore it. It's something that I'm supposed to be. Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me.
"I want the fairy tale" You believe that love is truly blind, unpredictable, and surprising. Two very different people can easily find true love. At least, that is how it will happen when you marry a gorgeous billionaire someday ;-) Your love style: Sensual and flirty Your Hollywood Ending Will Be: Surprisingly happy
the man of the house that we call poopsi is in today's newspaper! i have nothing but admiration for all that he's done, for the lives he has saved, hearts he has touched. he's the one person i'd go up against with anytime... the one person who can really, and i mean REALLY make me sob like a baby... the one who's just soooo like me we used to always kill each other arguing about stuff... ohwell. we're too alike and it's only fitting that we even share the same birthday. he's the guy who has made me tough indeed, and i love him to bits. he deserves every bit of recognition! so cheers to my wan en onli poopsi!!! :)
ps. mom says he looks like shrek ;p so that makes her fiona! haha...
